Oxalate IonHolmium Oxalate Hydrate is highly insoluble in water and converts to the oxide when heated (calcined). Holmium Oxalate Hydrate is generally immediately available in most volumes. We also manufacture holmium oxalate decahydrate. Ultra high purity and high purity compositions improve both optical quality and usefulness as scientific standards. Nanoscale elemental powders and suspensions, as alternative high surface area forms, may be considered. Holmium has the highest magnetic moment (10.6 µB) of any naturally occurring element and has been used to create the highest known magnetic fields as a pole piece or magnetic flux concentrator. Shipping documentation includes a Certificate of Analysis and Safety Data Sheet (SDS). Solutions are packaged in polypropylene, plastic or glass jars up to palletized 440 gallon liquid totes, and 36,000 lb. tanker trucks.
