Exposure controls
Appropriate engineering controls
Avoid contact with skin, eyes and clothing. Wash hands before breaks and immediately after handling the product.
Personal protective equipment
Eye/face protection
Face shield and safety glasses Use equipment for eye protection tested and approved under appropriate government standards such as NIOSH (US) or EN 166(EU).
Skin protection
Handle with gloves. Gloves must be inspected prior to use. Use proper glove removal
technique (without touching glove's outer surface) to avoid skin contact with this product. Dispose of contaminated gloves after use in accordance with applicable laws and good laboratory practices. Wash and dry hands.
Body Protection
Complete suit protecting against chemicals, The type of protective equipment must be selected according to the concentration and amount of the dangerous substance at the specific workplace.
Respiratory protection
Where risk assessment shows air-purifying respirators are appropriate use a full-face particle respirator type N99 (US) or type P2 (EN 143) respirator cartridges as a backup to engineering controls. If the respirator is the sole means of protection, use a full-face supplied air respirator. Use respirators and components tested and approved under appropriate government standards such as NIOSH (US) or CEN (EU).

Acute selenium poisoning produces central nervous system effects, which include nervousness, convulsions, and drowsiness. Other signs of intoxication can include skin eruptions, lassitude, gastrointestinal distress, teeth that are discolored or decayed, odorous ("garlic") breath, and partial loss of hair and nails. Chronic exposure by inhalation can produce symptoms that include pallor, coating of the tongue, anemia, irritation of the mucosa, lumbar pain, liver and spleen damage, as well as any of the other previously mentioned symptoms. Chronic contact with selenium
compounds may cause garlic odor of breath and sweat, dermatitis, and moderate emotional instability., To the best of our knowledge, the chemical, physical, and toxicological properties have not been thoroughly investigated.
