Abstract

A general and efficient protocol for the direct preparation of various S-thiocarbamates with readily available and inexpensive sulfonyl chlorides as an odorless sulfur source was developed. The employment of easily available reactants, excellent functional group tolerability, mild reaction conditions make this process very practical.
