Tellurites
About Tellurites
Tellurites are compounds which contain the tellurium oxyanion, TeO32−. Tellurites are generally quite stable, but may be reduced to elemental tellurium via electrolysis or treatment with a strong reducing agent. Sodium tellurite is a component of anode slimes produced in the refining of copper, and is a major source of tellurium.
