N749 Black Dye (Tris(tetrabutylammonium) Tris(isothiocyanato)(2,2':6',6''-terpyridyl-4,4',4''-tricarboxylato)ruthenium(II), Black dye, or Ruthenium 620), is an organometallic ruthenium complex with the widest range spectral sensitization of wide band-gap oxide semiconductors, giving it applications in dye-sensitized solar cells (DSSCs), organic photovoltaics, and other solar energy applications.
